Shantha Wickramasinghe

CEO of Lion Royal was born in Sri Lanka. He is a multilingual (Sinhala, Japanese, French, Tagalog and English) person who has explored the world at age of 24. His parents decided to send him abroad for higher studies. Finally he came to Japan for Japanese studies.

He established his own company Lion Royal in Japan at the age of 24. The company deals with Japanese used cars. He has Lion Royal branches in Kenya, Uganda, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. With his prior knowledge of travel trade, he has started a travel company,Lion Royal. He is the first Sri Lankan to be the agent for Sri Lankan Air Lines.

He is a very young businessman. His success story was reported in the NHK TV, Sankei newspaper and many other travel and business magazines. Nipponia magazine carried an article about his success story of young Sri Lankan based in Japan exporting Japanese used cars to the world. The article was carried in several languages and many other magazines.
